When in the Village of Reinstated Hero

Whenever a Sparrow is in Lion's lands, I think they should make it a point to visit the shrine at the Village of the Reinstated Hero.  It might be good to say a prayer there.  As Sparrow know of Bushido as well as any Lion.

Also I think it would be best if the Sparrow Bushi learned more then one school.  For example, it might be best for Sparrow Bushi to train in Toku Bushi school as well as Sparrow Kenjutsu.  After all, Sparrows are likely to find themselves outnumbered in battle.  If they be shugendo, I think it best to train in the Kitsune Shugenja School, and the Kasuga Courtier School.

Thought perhaps it would be good to study the fighting style in the lands one is helping to defend.  For example, if stationed in Crane lands, study in the Crane Shugendo school.  If in Phoenix lands, study in their Bushi School.  This way, it would lead to better cohesiveness in battle as we would be able understand how to work with our allies.

It is said that one's life does not consist of their possesions.  So therefore, one should focus on their training.  After all as soldier does not engage in civilian affairs.

Though I would like to see the Sparrow Shugendo train with the Kitsu.  Perhaps they couldn't learn Soden-senzu abilities.  Perhaps it may be to train as combat mages.  After all in battle, Sparrow Shugendo will not have as many forces.  Then after the battle they can treat the wounded.

Though, I think there should be no retreat, no surrender, there is a difference between an tactical withdrawal.  Once one's objectives have been completed it's best to withdraw instead of losing additional forces.  The Sparrow cannot afford to have there clan members throw away there lives.

Though I say this of the Crane, I like their strategy of Dueling enemy officers during battle.  Even if a enemy officer could only be weakened, it would make him less effective, and demoralize his troops.  Therefore, it's best to this as much as possible, and avoid all or nothing battles.
