In the event of an attack

Perhaps in the event of an attack, it would be to send woman and children to safety.  While the men engaged in Guerilla warfare against the invader.  It would be hard for an enemy to maintain a force on Sparrow lands.  It would best use the terrain against the invader.

It would be best not to meet an invading army head on.  As the chances for a winning would not be very likely.  Therefore, in the event of an attack the Sparrow should form into independant squads spread out through out it's territory.  Then the Sparrow, should harrass the enemy till they leave their lands.  If there is an overwhelming force, take one out then leave.  If this is continually done, the enemy forces will be decimated.

I think it best if the Sparrow never attack, they ought to only act in self-defense.  The Sparrow do not have the military power to engage in a campaign on another clan's soil.  Likewise, any invader's on Sparrow land should be given no mercy.  Afterall to be displaced could mean the our deaths or the deaths of our clansmen.  Why should we have any mercy on those who would show us none.  There bodies should then put on pikes on the entrance to Sparrow lands.  They will serve as a warning to those who would attack us.  An opponent without honor, deserves none.

While the Sparrow harass the enemy other clans might find it convenient time to expand there territory on the other front.  For example, the Lion clan way wish to take over the defense of territory bordering there lands.  the enemy would then have to fight on two fronts.  Which would not be a favorable position for them.  I think it would be good for the Sparrow to have a relationship to the Lion like that of the Dragonfly clan to the Dragon clan.

Also the Sparrow as they are serving in other lands way wish to take careful note of any Scorpion activity in the area.  As it best to keep an eye on the Scorpion.  Though, the Sparrow are not powerful enough to challenge the Scorpion, it is best for the Sparrow to stay out of their way.
